It’s time to grow your business and start putting yourself out there so that you can create a revenue-generating business that feels easy and fun.
Here are 4 tips to finding new clients online so that you can grow your practice and create raving fans.
1. Show up as yourself. Be You!
You want to build a trusted relationship, take time to get to know your audience, engage and interact with them. Educate them and add value with the content you create. Show up consistently with your blog and newsletter and lead them to your website.
2. It’s time to get visible.
You need to show up, be seen and be featured in places. You can’t hide behind your computer, it’s so important that you get in front of people and show that you’re the expert in your field. You want to be known within your community. Find places to present and speak. Contact your local chamber, online associations, create videos on YouTube, guest post on blogs, pitch to be interviewed on podcasts or create your own platforms.
3. Build your network.
Take time each week to work on connection and relationships building with strategic alliance partners. Find similar business owners who have the same type of client but represent a different service than you, that you can refer businesses back and forth with. Offer referral incentives. 70% of my business comes from referrals from past clients, prospects and strategic alliance partners.
4. Share your story everywhere and in everything that you do.
Your people will connect with you and your story because it’s filled with life experiences, skills unique to you, Their story won't be the same but they’ll be able to resonate and pull on stories that have impacted their lives. When we hear a story we’re 22x more likely to remember what we’ve heard, it draws us in deeper and we’re able to connect deeper. Story can be one sentence or more, and remember you only have to tell as much as feels good to you. Brene Brown says, share from the scar not the wound. You need to sit with the pain and share when you’re ready.
Bonus Tip.
Clarify and nail your niche. The more specific you get with picking a niche, the easier it is for you to create a revenue generating business and to market your services. Your people will know you’re talking to them versus ignoring you when you speak and teach. Once you nail your niche you’ll see an increase in sales and truly start calling in your people.
