Are You Ready to Speak Up With Confidence, Stand Out With Clarity & Make a Bigger Impact?
What It’s Like
to Work With Me
There was a time when I knew exactly what I wanted to say… and still couldn’t get the words out.
I’d feel it in my body first. The heat. The tight chest. The familiar pause where my voice hesitated even though my ideas were solid and my experience earned.
I wasn’t lacking confidence or competence. I was navigating rooms, systems, and expectations that taught me when to speak and when to stay small.
That moment, again and again, is what shaped this work. Because learning to speak up isn’t about becoming louder or more polished.
It’s about feeling safe enough to be present, clear enough to be heard, and grounded enough to take up space without losing yourself.
A client once said to me, halfway through our work together,
“I’ve always been respected for my results, but today was the first time I felt like people actually listened to me.” She hadn’t changed her title. She hadn’t memorized a script. She hadn’t tried to sound more confident.
What shifted was her presence. Her clarity. Her willingness to take up space and invite others into the conversation instead of bracing for it.
That’s what working with me is designed to create.
When we work together, this isn’t about putting on a show or memorizing scripts. It’s about building real capacity to speak, lead, and show up with clarity even when it matters most.
Here’s what my clients consistently experience:
You don’t just learn. You practice.
Every session is experiential with role play. We work in real time with real scenarios, so what you embody shows up in meetings, conversations, presentations, and decisions.
Your voice gets stronger from the inside out.
We address both the internal pieces (self-doubt, hesitation, overthinking) and the external ones (messaging, presence, delivery) so your communication feels authentic.
You learn how to claim space without becoming someone you’re not.
This is confident, grounded leadership allowing you to unapologetically show up as yourself.
Psychological safety is built into the room.
People feel comfortable taking smart risks, sharing real ideas, and having honest conversations without fear of being shut down or judged.
You’ll walk away knowing how to move people to action.
This isn’t about convincing people. It’s about being clear, credible, and connected... so the right people lean in.
We start where you are, not where you think you should be.
The work aligns with your goals... whether that’s leadership growth, visibility in your business, strengthening team communication, or navigating high-stakes conversations.
We don’t ignore what’s happening in your body.
We use simple, somatic practices to help you stay present, settle nerves, and trust yourself when it matters.
Feedback here is timely and compassionate.
It’s designed to help you grow faster while still feeling supported.
Equity, belonging, and voice matter here.
I’m intentional about creating environments where people feel seen, respected, and safe enough to use their voice.
And yes… It’s engaging and a ton of fun.
We do meaningful work and keep it light. Starting with low-stakes easy activities and using those as building blocks to the bigger, bolder conversations we need to have, all while playing and having fun.
When you're ready,
here are a few ways I can support you on your journey.
I was so impressed by her expertise in marketing combined with her humanity and her heart.
“Darlene really listens and is very intuitive and kind and tuned in to who you are as
a person and how you specifically are going to get YOUR best results."
