It's My Superpower as a Business Owner

Darlene Hawley

One of my strengths has always been asking a few really good questions and then listening to what’s been shared. From there then being able to map out the long-term goal aka the big picture and then break it down into bite-size actionable steps that make it crystal clear how to move forward.

{Poolside Muse} It's My Superpower

This summer I am writing you poolside from my backyard each week, with no agenda, no schedule, no strategic plan, just random thoughts that spark my soul to help you create a profitable business. I hope you enjoy my poolside muses.

———

K- How do you do it, Darlene?

Me- Do what? I asked.

K- I just called you with a messy download of where I was stuck and you just gave me clarity, confidence and exactly what I needed to map out everything I need to do to move forward.

Me (shrugging shoulders)-It’s just my superpower!

One of my strengths has always been asking a few really good questions and then listening to what’s been shared. From there then being able to map out the long-term goal aka the big picture and then break it down into bite-size actionable steps that make it crystal clear how to move forward.

Another superpower is connecting the pieces of your story that make you unique and pulling it all together in a way that highlights your expertise, skills, knowledge, and gifts so you can make consistent money in your business by calling in your dream clients with clear strong communication and messaging.

It’s by leaning into our uniqueness that we find our superpowers!

We each have them… our own superpower that we’re gifted with.

When was the last time you sat down and really got clear on what your superpower is?

Needs some support identifying yours?

Try these activities to get some clarity:

  1. What are 10 things that you can talk about easily for 30 minutes?
  2. What do your friends and family come to you about when they need advice or a swift kick in the butt?
  3. If you send 5 DM’s to friends or past/current coworkers and asked them what your strengths are, what would they say?
  4. If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be?

Once you’ve identified your superpower, take a look at your offers, and ask yourself are you supporting your community with your top strengths?

If yes, how do you continue to share your message with the world and increase your visibility around it?

If not, it’s time to do the work and get clear for yourself so you can share with others what your unique superpower is and why you’re uniquely poised to support others with your talent.

Comment below and let me know what a couple of your superpowers are! I can’t wait to hear from you.
